Sturdy&Co started because getting a fence quoted round here was harder than getting the fence built. Three firms, three site visits, two of them never called back, and the one that did wanted cash and a fortnight’s notice.

So we did the boring bit properly. Every material we buy sits in a price list on this website. Every job type has a labour rate we’ve actually measured, with honest multipliers for chalk, slopes and side gates you can barely get a barrow through. That’s what the quote form is doing while you answer it.

The rest is old-fashioned: concrete posts, treated timber, straight lines, and a broom at the end of the day.
